Over 600 students take part in the Tribucan Project End of Course event
The educational project of Caja Navarra has focused on Haiti this year, and has aimed to create supportive businesses in the participating schools.
Tribucan, the educational project of Caja Navarra, held its end of course event in Baluarte yesterday, with the participation of more than 600 boys and girls from 14 schools of Navarre.
This year, 2541 students from 52 schools all over Spain have taken part in the initiative to discover Haiti, and then set up an entrepreneurial supportive project. The businesses, which have been run by students, have aimed to sell handmade bracelets by Haitian women. The funds raised will be devoted to the reconstruction of a school in Jacmel (Haiti), a project run by the international foundation Plan España.
This initiative, also supported by the philosopher José Antonio Marina, and directed by professionals of Caja Navarra, has the promotion of educational values as its main goal (Diario de Navarra, 04/06/2011).

It is a pioneer initiative that intends to involve our society (tribu) in the promotion of civic values among the boys and girls.
We intend to get educational institutions, cultural entities, family associations, youth groups, political parties and any person interested in supporting this initiative involved in the project.
